Green BeansMark your calendar and grab Grandma's recipe box for Thursday's Tomato Fest, the next in our ongoing summer-to-fall series of virtual garden parties with A Way to Garden and an ever-growing list of contributors.

Think of our pesto, zukes and cukes, and green bean fests as appetizers to this showstopper topic. Tomatoes are getting to their peak, so we'll rejoice in sauces, salads, salsas, and more. The RSVPs are pouring in; in fact, I heard a juicy rumor on the (tomato) vine that Amy Goldman, of garden-seed-veggie-book fame, is at least a "maybe" for joining in the fun. My new pal Carolyn, a California foodie, is a big fan and is sure to visit. Others are confirmed, too -- Andrea couldn't wait and already shared her post and Alex messaged me describing sliced cherry tomatoes, basil, and brie tossed with hot fusilli and olive oil. Sounds delicious, right? And that's only the beginning. See you Thursday!
